DEATH OF MR CHARLES CHITTY
The death took place early yesterday morning of Mr Charles Chitty, at his residence Bat-Batting, near Goomalling. The deceased gentleman, who was 82 years old, was one of the pioneers of the district, and highly respected. The funeral takes place today, leaving Bat-Batting at 8am and proceeding to Goomalling R C Church. After a service there, it will continue on to Wongamine Junction Rd, and arriving at Toodyay about 1.30pm where the remains will be buried in the RC portion of the cemetery
